This clip was aired in Los Angeles on channel 11 in November 1987. Note that after Ted Knight's death in 1986, the Ted Knight Show, which ran for only one season, was repackaged as part of the Too Close For Comfort franchise and thus used that title in subsequent syndication.

I agree 100%...the maid was very beautiful in a pure and wholesome way. If only the women of today were like her.

The two actresses had decided to leave the show after the 5th season. They reformatted the show because they needed to.

@retrotv716, that show used to air on TV29 WTAF (now WTXF) in the 1980s and then on Channel 17 in the mid-1990s in the mornings.

hmm Mill Valley... it's kinda hard to believe that's where Tupac went to high school at, around the same time this came out too, 88'/89 is when he attended Tamalpais high, of course he lived on tha other side of the tracks in the gutter/ghetto ass small town of Marin City in tha projects

The revamped version wasn't bad...I liked the new theme mix, and Lisa was def a cutie. :-) In fact, they were set to begin production on a 2nd season under this new format when Ted Knight passed away.

Somebody named "Lord Digga" sampled the theme song for a track called "Who You Rollin' With". Needless to say, it's an "Interesting" use of the theme.
