@bronxboyXXX They did however say two more things (& I quote) "The ZR1 is the closest-performing street-car variant in this test " and that "Jan was able to outpace himself in the ZR1 by 13 seconds a lap!".

This showdown was lousy! (like always) R&T starts out with a long drawn out 13 paragraph take on the BMWs which not till the last paragraph did they point out that there was a large performance gap between the road and race car. Then it had a short revealing take on the vetts (but no lap numbers) and at the end the only thing that they did reveal is this; "Based purely on lap times, the ZR1 and GT3 are closest to their respective racing counterparts"... Excuse me but.. What lap times!?
