He is very insightful!!!

@Dungarth doesn't matter i won't judge you except to say you have great taste.

@loljustice31 Besides, the words 'unique' and 'profound' do not appear in my comment. I was just remarking upon his eloquence and cleverness.
-
@loljustice31 And you're thirty three. So what? :)
Age doesn't stop someone speaking to you.
I was 17 when I wrote that and a lot more impressionable but I still stand by what I said. He's not just a pretty face.

@velvetQueen699999 Sadly, he was too young. Many people liked Cruise as Lestat- even Anne Rice came around, although she was at first opposed (she wanted Julian Sands) - but my dislike of him has become such that I can't see any authenticity in what he does. I remain forever conscious of him 'acting'; even when he's doing it well, I don't see that character, Ethan Hunt or Lestat de Lioncourt or whoever, I just see Tom Cruise acting.

@loljustice31 It's not just that he's plain pretty and thus he is girlish, no, his eyes, his eyelashes, his skin, his hair, his lips, his softspokenness, all -at times- appear much like a woman's. Not talking about this movie (or glamrockers) in particular, just JRM.
-
@veerleke being pretty doesn't make you a girl. Having curves makes you a girl. A big point in the glam rock movement was that you can be pretty regardless of your gender, it doesn't make you "girly."

@igloo531 lol
-
@TroubleTwin2 I think they're saying 'RIP' in the sense that he'd presumably changed a lot and isn't who he used to be.
-
@velvetQueen699999 He would, but in all honesty, I think both Cruise and Brad Pitt were *outstanding* in Interview. It was an incredible movie and I think they both pulled off their roles so well.
I'm the straightest man on this planet but I'd go gay for this man....hmm maybe I'm not as straight as I first thought.

He is SO intense. He scares the hell out of me when he acts. He is so in to it, he BECOMES the character. From the hair on the top of his head, to his tippy tippy toes. It's scary and wonderful.
But would I want to just sit and have a chat with him, more than likely not. :-P He makes me nervous when it's just Him, when he's not acting.
