OK, what happened here - this was just a test of the GYRO who was supposed to change blue fins angle to prevent Model rotation. I had pretty smart design of model control where 3 independent servo motors controlled X, Y and W axis. W is for rotation. When I moved that switch I expected just to change the Gyro sensitivity to another preset level, but in fact I went to totally different control setting mode where Throttle curve was a straight line instead of soft sine. So that was unexpected and too sudden. In fact I had lot of similar tests those days included with crashes, just this was "lucky" to catch this one on the video. Actually this video was intended for future reference of the GYRO work.

  • That's my testings about vertical flight and control. Helis are last century. My new baby is coming soon : )

  • It was stupidity! thats what it was, cant expect to hold the damn thing and try to test it at the same time.

  • At that stage it was only GYRO test. Not flight. Changing swith with gyro sensitivity, trotle curve was changed too. That's why it jumped up. If U wanna see stupidity - have a look in the mirror.

  • Actually looks like you popped the throttle stick up on your stomach when reaching for the other switch.

  • No. I changed AUX2 switch which is responcible for GYRO sensitivity. That was meaning of test. But it was also responcible for stunts. So preprogrammed throttle curve went from smooth one to linear, which value at that position of thr. stick was much higher.
