  • The sad fact that no one wants to admit is that people like to fail. It's the path of least resistance, it bonds them to their fellow failures and it's material for their latest X Factoresque sob story. Boo hoo.

    People enable themselves to fail by making their resolutions too generalised (I will lose weight) or too extreme (I will stop eating chocolate) rather than aiming for a realistic lifestyle change, which shouldn't require a special day to put into action.
