It's a Kagome tribute. So basically Kagome leaves because she's fed up with Inuyasha and his love for kikyo. She thinks that Inuyasha forgot all about her, and doesn't miss her. And Inuyasha forgot all but her name. Kagome still loves him, and she's trying to move on, but she can't because she never said good-bye. Then one day, Inuyasha remembers, but Kagome has already said goodbye- though not to his face. And Inuyasha realizes his mistake and misses her.
