This is one of the best works from Giampaolo Di Rosa, and a World-Premier exclusive on Youtube. "Tales" is a walk trough your fantasy. This Iberian Organ in the best you can find around the globe but unfortunatly unknown by the most of the Pipe-Organ lovers. This treasure you can find in the Museu d´Arte Sacra - São Lourenço - Igreja dos Grilos in Oporto, Portugal.

Tales:
- Once upon a time 0:02
- Reliefs 01:56
- Blowing 03:45
- Encounter 05:01
- Thinking 07:48
- Run (not on the video)
- Stop... the End 09:04

Many thanks to Giampaolo to allow posting this great work,. Thanks also to the Rector Canon Alvaro Mancilhe from the Seminario Maior do Porto for the Copyrights, Daniel Pires for the photos and the rest of the team of the Museu d´Arte Sacra, especially Arq. Pedro Resende Leão

Also thanks to the Universidade Católica Portuguesa of Oporto for the tecnical support.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a Pre-Master! A final version will be in October avaliable. (Sound-Professionals know that it means "too much bass")

  • beautifull, also great work on the video

  • Thx Ficalheiro, Video is not really my especiality, also the fotos are not from my authory. Anyway, thx a lot for you comment.

  • Fascinating music and the organ is amazingly rich and versatile for a 1 manual. It even seems to have percussion stops. Excellent posting.

  • Yes, there is Drums and Birds as percussion.

BTW: You can split the manual and so you have to sets of stops simultaniously.

  • I didn't realize it was a 1 manual organ. Great manipulation by the organist

  • Yes, only 1 manual that you can split!

  • @Silverdaddy101 Human voice.

  • Já tive a oportunidade de ouvir este magnífico instrumento ao vivo e tenho acompanhado o programa do festival "sons e timbres do órgão ibérico". É de facto um excelente exemplar deste tipo tão genial de instrumento.

  • It's possible to play this in one manual yes! Because the Iberian Organs have the manual divided into left hand and right hand, with separate registers for each.

  • Muito bom... adorei ouvir o órgão ibérico desta maneira.

  • 05:01.............. that was just beautiful!
