Yeah, I'm also really, really sad that Tegan and Sara are working with Peta. I've hated Peta ever since they ran ads in Vancouver comparing the deaths of sex trade workers to those of pigs in a slaughterhouse. Peta is has no regard for women's issues so I'm suprised T&S would support them. I'm all for not wearing fur, put Peta gives animal activism a bad name.

that was a long time ago, Tegan and Sara kind of had some problems with Peta's campaigns... anyways, they wear fur now :) GOOD. i fucking hate peta.

I honestly think that Tegan and Sara aren't there standing up for peta, more like standing up for what they believe.. I don't like peta either but if you think, tegan and sara fans watch this video, and perhaps they'll learn something they didn't know and have T&S as role models. And that's great! So I don't believe its such a big deal that they are "working" with peta. They are not really, its more like a way to give out a voice they wouldn't randomly say in an interview. Just my opinion (:

Just because you are against fur doesn't mean you have to support peta. Who by the way have the largest kill number of any animal rescue organization, yet bring in MILLIONS and MILLIONS. I hate peta

Do you mean some of the indigenous populations in the north who rely on the animals to live? The Inuit peoples who RESPECT the earth and her animals and only take what they need? Because if that's what you mean, then you should be more accurate. Most of us are perfectly fine wearing synthetic coats in the winter. The only people who need the fur are the ones who live off of the land.

its not fare, people dont have natural fur and therefor they have to take it from the animals. You have to get get the bigger picture, in sunny California it maybe ok, but if you live like for an example in Scandinavia or Canada fur is a must, of the same reason you dont wear fur when you go to the beach when you go to baywatch beach. I have seen Pamela Anderson in a full fur coat at the beach, so my suggestion, clean up i Cali before you go and tell other people what to do.
