@aJazzcat someone named Jazzcat should know that the melody is just a result of the changes. chords are more significant than the melody.

The homage is something to be commended, but the execution is leaving me with a lack of proper oration. At least, in the beginning. Now that I'm hearing more of the song, this is actually a wonderful jazz improv piece. Beautifully constructed with the same spirit (no pun intended), though different genre, as the original. The dissidence and cacophony rings true today more than ever.
