Nathan Rooney SG Class of 2012

"This young shooting guard plays in attack mode. He has a strong body for his age and size. Rooney has an excellent feel for the game, competes and plays with energy. He sprinted the floor in transition and attacked the lane repeatedly when he received the advance pass. Rooney scored mostly with his excellent mid range game. Rooney%u2019s dribble pull up had great elevation and a smooth release. I didn%u2019t see him shoot the three because he always seemed determined to improve his shooting percentage but would be surprised if he is not affective behind the arc as well. Defensively he plays with urgency and not only applies good ball pressure but is an alert help defender. Rooney is one to watch because with steady development he has the makings to be a tremendous guard."
