They didn't suck, then they did suck, then they stopped sucking for awhile (with Bruce and Eric) then they came back here and had a neutral suck factor but now they kind of suck again. I think its the arrogant "we don't need no stinkin practice, we're KISS" mindset.

I'd say their best tours were in the 70's and then again early 90's with Bruce and Eric (much better musicians anyway). Sets were awesome, and they really wanted to please the crowd. Now it appears the money is too good to pass on.

@EvaBraun9 Dont get me wrong! i like kiss, not sure if you saw my other posts, i own at least 12 of there cd's! I just feel when they first came out in 73- 74 with street clothes, no gimmick, i dont see them accomplishing much!

@MegaZephead - 'overrated' by who? you don't last this long in the money making business without making money - and making money takes interested fans. This band came back 24yrs after their inception to become the top-grossing act of 1996 - you cannot suck and accomplish that. This band 'invented' the 'reunion/comeback' that every group is now cashing in on. Like the music/image/marketing or not, only a naive fool cannot call KISS one of the most 'SUCCESSFUL' bands of all time....
