St. George's Bridge 3 - - Right Lane View

I don't know why, but I love driving over this bridge. I suppose because it is wide and open. The evening sky was beautiful so I eased over to the right lane and slowed way down to enjoy the scenery. Sorry about the bugged-up windshield but there are a lot of bugs in Delaware.

@ vbdenny Senator Roth Bridge...Saint Georges is the Older bridge East of this bridge. for future reference, and i always take the St. Georges. Call me old fashioned but i like the Lean to it....:-)

@TERRY72763 Thanks Terry. I drove across the old bridge many times and once had lightning hit the top when we were right there. In spite of the tribute to Sen. Roth, if you listen on the CB, you will never hear his name mentioned when discussing the bridge.

a beautiful bridge structure,three lanes in each direction.united states does everything in a big way....good soundtrack got in the car.

with the way some people pay attention while driving, I am not surepirized. But considering all the people crossing it every year that isn't a bad percentage.

ya last year 4 people died on that bridge

I went over that bridge once along time ago, by mistake. I just don't remember it. There are several really tight, badly surfaced bridges around New Yor City. You just got to get up on the whell and really pay attention. Most people don't.

have u been over the Chesapeake Bay bridge in maryland, i hate that bridge its narrow, un safe and to many bad drivers u have to make sure your not near any of the shaky ones, and everytime it seems that the bridge is shaking when u go over it
