@diabeticvegan wow, you hope someone removes my head? I take care of my cows. with out their loving owner, my cows would also die, probably from some meat eating person cutting of their head. You are the same if not worse than the meat eaters, with your cruel mentality. Bhudevi is constantly beating up haripriya, gouging her and spearing her all the time. and she tried to kill my nephew. Still haven't gotten rid of her horns tho, because I want to find a nice way.

Why does the one cow look so skinny? I can see her ribs.

@sueishere25 yeah, When we first got Haripriya, she was just like a rack of bones. She is I believe of the skinniest of the milk breeds of cows (jersey), and she was in full lactation. She's much fatter now, but it's hard to maintain her weight. I feed her more than she can eat, but her body still wants to put it to milk rather than fat on her body.

@katelyn442 well... if you feel his scrotum it is empty. There are no testicles there. But He acts like a full bull, not a castrated ox or steer, and we have not removed them, therefore they must be in his abdomen, undescended.

@sanaluksfine Actually, naturally cows become pregnant a few months after they have had their calf. But yeah, I do it unnaturally, because I don't want so many cows, and I'm not willing to sell cows to people who might kill them. especially bull calves. Bhudevi continually spears Haripriya with her horns and she tried to kill my nephew. Haripriya has a fresh gouge in her neck from a few days back. Artificial insemination is good if you want to avoid a bull calf.

@mydadsatwork, I have had ekadasi giving milk for 7 years WITHOUT even having a calf. (spontaneous lactation) of course that's I call her my magic cow. Bhudevi is in her third year of lactation without being pregnant. Haripriya has been milking without being pregnant for almost 1and a half years now. Cows are like any lactating animal or human. they give milk AFTER they have given birth. Then it just depends how long they will continue to give milk without getting pregnant again.

I like how you are feeling for your cows. But you are one of a small range of people who do this. But your wrong, drinking milk is not natural, its just normal because of the dogma. A few years ago it was normal to hate blacks and other, it was normal to have slaves...I believe that one time it is normal, NOT to drink milk and eat meat....

Your cows are lovely and I can tell you have genuine affection for them. Unfortunately, most production dairy cows are not treated that humanely. People thirst for milk because it is advertised that it "Does a body good" and "Got Milk?" We think we have to have it in our diets. Truth is, it's very hard to digest the milk the another creature, let alone another species. Goat's milk is too harsh for puppies, etc. It's a personal choice for everyone to drink or not to drink.
