  • The better way to rip to desired width is a table saw. Very nice vid overall.

  • @wmcrash Thanks.

  • Nice video. One request.... when you use that smoker, I hope to see a video along with recipe. I also smoke.

  • @PrepperAZ Thanks and I'll be doing a smoking vid soon.

  • If you have a good straight side rip it with a good blade on the table saw. Check out Mathaiswandel on YT for some good wood working vids.

  • @anyonefindAMERICA1 I will check 'em out, thanks.

  • @anyonefindAMERICA1 Good advice.

  • I was saying "HUH?" just yesterday. Wear that ear protection kiddies! Especially in the Rock-n-Roll type situations!

  • @unomas58 Those are original blades in that planer. I bought a sharpening stone from home depot and sharpen the blades just about every time I use the planer.I can usually plane all day without having to resharpen. I've probably planed @ 1000 board feet. It was an inexpensive planer but seems to be holding up. Ryobi AP 1301. Thank you for commenting.

  • The cherry and the oak are both beautiful.Do you sharpen your own planer blades or just replace them. The reason I ask is because I know hardwood will dull them relatively quickly.
