I visited Ma Wei's family on January 7, 2009. There are three daughters in Ma Wei's family. Her parents have been working as a migrant workers for more than 13 years, firstly in Shanghai, now in Beijing. They tried to do various things to make a living, growing vegetables, selling vegetables, selling fruits, and they are raising pigs now. They cannot go back to the countryside, for they do not have farmland to raise the family.
