After months of planning & sweat, replacing the old concrete stumps with telescopic steel ones, our house was ready to be raised. This timelapse shows the 6hrs it took us to raise the house 700mm. It was done with 23 hydraulic jacks (12t each) - lifting 10mm at a time. Watch how the house lifts slightly at the front first, then toward the back in waves. After each 100mm we had to re-set the jacks - you will see the lifting happens in 7 sets of 100mm...

  • Nice job. Did you make your own telescopic steel posts?

  • Awesome, great job Andrew. Good idea to take the time lapse!
