2/24/11 Severe Storms Coverage (part 1 of 3)

This was the line of storms that formed a derecho across the south on February 24, 2011. Winds in the nashville area gusted to 80 during the storm and even into the 60 mph range before the rain even began. Several tornadoes also touched down just south of the city also. Earlier that day temps were in the 40-50s with off and on rain. However by 7 that night the temps rose to the mid 70s. Most people in the area probably wont forget this storm system.
