my mom passed away 3 years ago. elvis was her favorite singer, and i'll remember you was the top one for her. makes me teary when i listen to this, cause i remember her. i know my dad misses her so much. he is also always listening to this song.

My husband passed away in January, 2013. This song brings back the magical moments that we spent on our vacations in Hawaii that we loved so much. And of course, now that he is with the angels it means so much to me. I try not to cry because it is over, and try to smile because it happened but I miss him so much. My love. Thank you Eileen for your kind words. Actually the first time I heard this song it was sung by Don Ho as well. That was in Honolulu just shortly before Don Ho passed away. I love this song too and Elvis' version is heart wrenching. It makes me cry every time I hear it.
