Respond to this video... Everyone knows Rose is one of the GOATS but he placed bets from the Dugout on baseball and even admitted betting on his own games. How can he be given a walk? Baseball took Mays out of baseball banned from associating with the Giants or Mets for working at a casino after he retired. He was a greeter just a job didn't even gamble. Rose knew the penalty. He broke Baseballs golden rule. Maybe after he dies they'll vote him in. Never before. Very very sad

Pete Rose called in bets in games from the dugout and lied about it, Then said he bet on HIS games "but never against the Reds" at first he lied "only bet on other games" He is as a player top ten of all time but how can baseball let him in the HOF? We all know as a player he was one of the best ever, but geez really. He knew the penalty and did it anyway.

I say screw the hall of fame . It seems to cause people to disregard the careers of certain outstanding players . Rose's is obviously a different situation but people who pay too much attention to the hall may assume that guys like Fred Lynn , Steve Garvey , David Concepcion , Al Oliver , FrankViola , Denny Martinez , and a thousand other outsatnding players' careers were not worthy of recognition somehow. I dont need teh hall , I watched the game

We need to motivate these people that pete rose hit over 4,000 when he gambled people figured out that a mlb player was is the KKK another was a wife beater, cheater, and a hard drinker! we need to vote to let pete in the Hall Of Fame! like this so they will see our reasonings!!!

baseball took Willie Mays out of baseball for working as a greeter at a casino, and he was retired. Does anyone think a punishment 100X worse would come down on Rose? I feel bad for Rose because he is a HOF player. But he did break a golden rule. So what message does it send if they forgive and forget & put him in the HOF?

@Cowboy11474 I agree that Rose has HOF #'s . He committed the ultimate sin and bet on baseball while still in the game, See you can be a wife abuser or a substance abuser and get in the HOF. Just don't bet on the games you're involved in. What do you think about Bonds ? should he get in?

This is good news. In my opinion, the Hall of Fame is not the Hall of Fame without Pete Rose in it. There are quite a few in the Hall of Fame that did some "questionable" things that should got them banned from baseball. But when these gentlemen were inducted into the Hall of Fame, they(Hall of Fame and MLB's commishoner said they were being hailed for there baseball attributes and not "other things". It's time for Pete to be inducted. That's my opinion... :-)
