In this short tutorial I will show you how easy it is to use a video file like .AVI or .MPG as a texture. This is good for animations where you would have a tv or movie screen in it.
This is very basic but was requested by a user.

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you! It does look easy. I'm thinking about other ways to use it as well. I was thinking of use it to simulate waves for oceans. For a Flash game I'm starting in March, I'm modeling and animating everything in 3d and exporting to a spritesheet and I'm needing a river and waterfall. Of course I also have my tv in my last project to work on... Now I just have to find a video to use. Thanks again for the tutorial.
