The benefits of beet juice are killer. Beetroot is my favourite ingredient when it comes to making fresh juice, probably because I feel the effects within 5 or 10 mins. I often mix it with ginger, lemon and grapefruit, plus cayenne pepper and turmeric. It's a potent mixture, but it's a great liver cleanser. Beetroot is fantastic for the blood and has been found have numerous benefits. With more iron than spinach, it's a great solution for people with iron deficiency.
Beetroot juice is good for a variety of skin disorders, including acne, dandruff and dry skin problems. But hey, cutting out bad food and consuming more fruits and vegetables will have this effect. Beetroot also has anti-cancer properties.

Thanks for this info. I'm anemic iron deficiency. I'm scheduled to receive a blood transfusion but I would like to avoid getting it if possible.

@classyjewel Another way to load up on iron is orange juice. Pretty sure Tim Ferriss mentions this in the 4 hour body.
