In our opinion, larger concrete tanks can crack as a result of ground movement. When cracked, the steel reinforcing in the concrete may get exposed to air, cause corrosion, which can affect structural integrity & leak.
Quick fixes of crystals, cement crack filling or fibre glassing, won’t last.
As a long term solution, Pioneer regularly reline old & new leaking concrete tanks with the same liner we use in our water tanks. Pioneer concrete relines come with a 10 year conditional warranty.
