i installed ubuntu 8.10 last week on my 1 terabyte external hard drive which i did a partition on so ubuntu would take 100gb and which connects to my laptop just to check it out.. im a newbie to ubuntu.. im using compiz config to custumize my desktop.. tell me what you think..

When I started using linux I was stold to try ubuntu, hated it, it was slower than xp and buggy.. Did alot of distro hopping for about 2 or 3 years until I finally found home in debian crunchbang, it became my every day OS. Now I'm on win 7 though, since I built a gaming rig.

if you already got the video card installed just go to add/remove and search for compiz .. :-j if you want more compiz effects search in the synaptic
