Magic's hook shot (#1) was significant. It basically ended this series and established the Lakers as the dominant team of the 80's, over the Celtics. He misses that shot and the series is 2-2, and who knows how the rest of the 80's plays out.

I have to agree, the Celtics and Lakers were dead even with three championships a piece at that point. That little sky hook by Johnson was such a deciding factor.

I know nobody here agrees, but, though I can actually ENJOY 80's basketball because I know enough and have loved the game long enough; I still must admit it is way more 'appealing' to watch 90's and 2000's NBA games.
I know those are tremendous classics but, the game is just not as elaborate and fast and aesthetic as today's, and I'm no coach so, I'm not watching JUST for the technical side of it...
