  • Pretty nice video. It's truly amazing how these tragic fires are still being told as if they happened yesterday.Thats how they should always be.....

  • Thank you for this wonderful video. My great great grandparents perished here, leaving their children orphans.

  • Excellent, excellent excellent! You thumb your nose at those that think history is boring!

  • Very well done. As good as any I've seen on one of the worst tragedies of our time.

Eddie Foy, Sr., was one of the bravest people I've ever read about for doing what he did during the tragedy, later dramatized in the Bob Hope-starring biofilm, "The Seven Little Foys." The Chicago Fire Department wanted to present him with a citation, but he declined, saying he only did what any responsible person would have done under the circumstances.

Again, very well done. Keep at it.

  • Not just Chicago history, U.S. history, prior to this disaster, there were very leinant fire laws on theaters, the Iroquois Theater fired changed that, then, in 1942, the fire at Boston's Cocoanut grove nightclub tightened the fire laws even more.

  • Very well done. Well researched and very well written.

  • Very well done!

  • Nicely done!

  • Good job kid!
