It sounds like you guys took this more at face value rather than doing some in depth research in the process of remaking these shoes or how much of an impact it will make. I recommend researching deep/shallow ecology (specifically, read Fritjof Capra's chapter titled "Deep Ecology - A New Paradigm" in the book "The Web of Life"). It seems like it's a nice idea, but how do we know it's not green washing?
