@sontesn1 No - take asians for example (not trying to be racist here) they are taught from a young age, to do the thing that is given to them best; they are good; very good infact but with no emotion how can a piece be considered - whats the word.... hmmm meaningful to the listener,
You take any instrument great, like joe pass for example; and look at the facial feautures he makes!! or bb king another facial - all these guitarists play with feeling!!! All good music comes from emotion.
-
@AbramTaylorMusic It sounds totally cool, that tone is terrific - keep up the stuff!!
-
cool

@paulyrulo what a stupid comment! i hate when people say that some lack emotion, if it sounds good how can you say it lacks emotion? if i was played without passion it wold have sounded crap, this is great stuff!

I can't listen to that without smiling.

You are one talented man Abram... and ready to rock the world. two thumbs up for you.
Nice one, but some sustain is part of tone, and at this speed, you'll miss some of that. DId freeze this to learn a couple of chords...
You'd be surprised what a Harmony H44 and flatwounds through a Roland Acoustic 100 can do with jazz....

Thanks, I do need to keep focusing on tone. H44 with flatwounds , nice...

Obviously you are very knowledgeable on chords and right hand picking technique, but to my ear it sounds way too mechanical with little to no emotion. Maybe this is the way this number is supposed to be presented but I would like to hear some expressive guitar playing from you next time instead.

Working on the emotion for sure, thanks for the observation.
