Criticizing a player does not decrease his value, what does in Bargnani's case is the fact that he is injury prone, a bad rebounder (even though that is not his playing style) and is indifferent on defense. However, you cant put all the blame on him..he didn't choose to be first draft pick, but when your GM is a bonehead things like this happen..he is a perimeter giant, and the Raptors needed a presence in the paint..so apparently a 7-foot chucker who seldom displays post-moves was the answer...

I hope Bargs is traded for a bag of chips, so that you have nothing in return, like happened with Vince and CB4, since you're decreasing the player's value with your own hands.

There are teams interested in Bargs out there, waiting that his value gets lower.

He will leave for nothing and you'll need to rebuild again. But since your hate will pour on Demar/Ross/Jonas the rebuilding phase will never end.
