Well, all I have to say is that, neither of those tickets should have to be paid. He respectfully brought in proof of insurance the morning after, as an honest citizen. As long as they can see the papers eventually it should not matter. And as for the second fine, if he couldn't see you stopped, then that's his fault, he can't just pretend to know what happened around a snow bank.
Both tickets would be thrown out if you didn't pay and took appearance in court. Easy to get out of.

YARRR!!! i know cops have one of the ruffest jobs around. but they do sometimes take things a bit too far tryin to fine someone.
