there's a very good video that I made that you should check T Recommendations: Good Beginner Species. I go through recommendations on first starters, there was at least a good 6-10 species in there. B.albopilosum, B.smithi, A.avicularia, and E.campestratus are my top choices in terms of beginners and can be handleable.
However, I don't recommend handling too much. Ts generally don't like being handled

I'll be shooting at you some latin names because I just not comfortable with all the pet trade names. P.pederseni (ghost ornamental) is an okay species however these are not recommended for first time hobbiysts. They are unbelievably fast, and be very aggressive if cornered and they do possess potent venom. DO NOT HANDLE.
As for the others Paraphysa scofra (chilean), Brachypelma vagans will have 20-25 yrs if female, 5-8 if male.

brazillian red bk? Happen to know what the latin name of the T? Do you mean Nhandu coloratovillosus, or nhandu chromatus? That's why it's hard to pinpoint the exact species with common names. (12-15 year if female)
There are good spiders to have and you can view many of these species in detail in the mythbuster videos I post.
If you're beginning to collect Ts, you should watching out for that ghost... it's a very fast species and it makes maintenance a bit difficult.
