@Jet3010 they merge to form a much larger black hole. There have been theories as to what happens to space and time near the black holes as this happens; for one, time bends severely, (even into reversal,) another theory is that time projects itself outward as a ripple... it's pretty intense sh*t, my friend O.O

@Jet3010 it would depend how they hit, face on, backwards, or sideways.

In the event of two black holes colliding, and both have equal mass and density will they either combine or destroy each other..... Well in this sense have the same outcome..
-
@Jet3010 They combine into an even bigger black look it up.
-
@Jet3010 it will merge to become a new bigger blackhole.

@Jet3010 all hell breaks loose

How is a black hole formed ?
-
@Jet3010 its believed that one of the two would push the other in the opposite direction but its only a theory.
-
@SorrowSacrifice You're leaving out gravity's relativistic effects on spacetime confirmed by General Relativity, and gravity well time-lensing
-
Nothing. the big ass black hole holding our galaxy together would suck it up
@Jet3010 There's some interesting calculations that show two converging black holes can bend time to even a reversal. There's some good books on it; it's really cool stuff.

What if 2 black holes "hit" each other?
