hey man my buddy and i are doin a 55 at the moment weeven have a 283 in the stock frame with the straight axle it was funny but we have another frame with a 79 camaro front end and the 10 bolt from the rear measure re measure and remeasure again then cut it will be a nice ride height and makes for any motor swap from small to big block.
