@HashRash87 Why should this word mean anything in greek?
Is it obvious that every word must have a definition in greek?
Maybe in Ancient Greek
We in Neogreek have words which are made with tara which have a definition which is about sounds..
like tarakulo which means agitation. , taradela which was a wild
tarahi which means commotion
So I guess the ancient greek language has a meaning for this word
Unfornatuly I dont know Ancient Greek so well
You could search that, before claiming things

Wir "homos" waren so fortgeschritten, dass wir vor 9000 Jahren Homosexuele nicht gekillt sondern anerkannt haben.Sie galten als Teil der Gesellschaft.

@Tolisakis97 The half of the turkish lands were greek from the beginning of history..,so I think its a little bit stupid to claim that the pontians are turkish.
How?They lived there before the turks even existed..
As about the culture...The numbers tell everything..
over 9.000 years the one nation... not even 5000 the other..
hmm..

Well..I saw many comments of the Turks and i would like to give them an answer..
The greek nation is at least 9000 years old.
The turkish nation( take it how you want..Persian,Othoman etc. ) is not older than 5.000 .
The greeks had musical instruments milleniums before the turks..so this thema is ended...
The language which the Pontians speak is more near to the ancient greek language, which was spoken over 9.000 years ago.

@Nickname997 my ancestors lived in Pontos...had Turkish neighbours and lived in peace.....the two cultures taught each other many things......what governments did.....wher religion stands...is another issue....what i ahve to say from my own experience is that all the turkish people i met were unique people... I have to say that when i was studying in the UK Greeks were closer to Turks than anybody else!
