I understand having messes on you layout at times. Im currently building a 9X6 N scale layout and I always have crap all over the table (especially when I'm doing scenery). But if I ever do a layout update, I normally clean everything that I can off of the layout. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, though, your layout looks good!
