You didn't do anything wrong. You light up enough pigs with a light, eventually you will run across some that will spook at the light, it's just part of the game. Good luck on your future hunts.

My hogs spook at the infrared game camera!!! Draw up in the air and lower the light to them. It helps sometimes....

@jetpowered1 on a bow that would prob not work the hog lite works fine I have killed several hogs in the middle of the night with it but this hog spooked for some reason.
