Kyokushin is Mother and Law for Martial Arts..I trained Kyokushin for 3 years,but unfortunettly i haved to stop..

Excellent stuff. I love Kyokushin because they are fighters. I would not want to mess with a good Kyokushin guy. The do well in the full contact kick boxing arena as well. aSsmA5t3r you should just go and try a kyokushin class or two and see what it is all about before you close your mind to it. What you see as not blocking my be counter striking and trying to beat your opponent to contact. There is a huge difference between non contact and contact fighting. Not a diss, just a suggestion

Some research actually shows less injuries due to the level of training and skill of the participants, I have seen enough points tournament folks in our trauma ER, someone walks straight into a punch or kick that isn't "pulled" quite so well!

jesus christ. a lot of these fights look really stupid. i do normal sports karate, not this stuff, but i gotta say, theres no blocking at all in this. its just throwing a kick or punch and hoping it lands before their opponent's does.

You should enter one of these tournaments; obviously it would be a piece of cake for you!
