Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex is a platform game for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube video game consoles. The game is the sixth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series, but it's the fourth chronologically. The gameplay follows a very similar pattern to previous titles, with only par slight alterations in level design and move set. Crash can learn all his moves from Warped in addition to a new sneak move, which allows him to sneak over explosive Nitro Crates. Crash's sister, Coco, is also fully playable, and for the first time, has her own set of moves. There are many vehicles available, including a 4x4, a plane, and an Aliens-esque robot suit.

Set straight after the events of Warped, the story begins somewhere outside Earth's orbit, where we see Doctor Neo Cortex's evil space station base. Inside it, Uka Uka adds destructive masks with the power over Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. If they unleashed their destructive energy, they'll have enough power to bring Cortex's secret weapon to life. They would have a weapon capable of crushing mountains, demolishing entire cities, and wiping Crash Bandicoot off the face of the Earth forever.

  • Crash yo lo tengo en wii

  • @MsTacoWagon Hahaha, yeah. My sister's good friend used to call him Cuplikahn or something like that, because that was the sound he made whenever he appeared out of the boxes in the game. This game was pretty much our childhoods, and the first ever game that we played on our PS2 waaaaay back in the day!

  • @pantherandgrizzly

Loading times aside, this game was way better than the last couple crash games released.

at least this game stuck to the original formula.

  • the last good(ish) crash bandicoot game in my opinion. If only crunch wasnt the only boss in it. I missed tiny and dingodile and all

  • @pantherandgrizzly yea I was shocked when I first saw about 20 people say how much the game sucked look it up some people loved this game some people hated it.

  • @guitarfreak1008 Hold up... People actually hated this game..? Is that why they made a joke in Twinsanity saying "Wrath of Cortex didn't do aswell as we hoped?"

  • wow never knew the community hates this game so much I mean when I was 5 6 or 7 this was like the best thing ever for me hell all the crash games up to twinsanity where fucking amazing!
