In this video Peter and other economists discuss whether or not the economy is getting better. Peter states that "we haven't fixed anything, we've put a bandaid on a cancer," and he tells the overly optimistic host that his record of inaccurate forecasting is gong to be safe. Peter also states that if the Cap n' Trade bill creates jobs, they will be useless and unproductive jobs.

  • They hate him for being the smartest guy in the room.

  • how is Peter a "perma bear" ???????

what is happening is what is happening, and if the trend is "bear" then it is what it is...

I say "perma reality"....he may well save many from total destruction that otherwise they would experience, including myself....

  • What does the host know about real wealth?

I wonder if he knows being a billionaire in Zimbabwe you are considered broke... Peter is right.. Like always.

  • Are they hoping people will be too stoned to give a shit?

  • They have learned not to disagree with Peter :-p

  • Lol, most of those guys ganged up on the host of CNBC about saying the recession is over....just hilarious. About time.

  • Peter really nailed his own remarks, bang on the money.

  • Dennis "Dickweed" Kneal hasn't got a clue.

  • Bernanke's green shoots are coming to fruition in California. They are 'wanting' to legalize pot to help pay down their massive 26.3 billion dollar deficit. What a joke.......
