I can't say anything about Haitian or Jamaican men, but there is this one young half Dominican guy who's not only asked for my (exact) location of where I work, but also once followed me off of a bus to my house... saying he wanted to make sure I got home 'okay.' I told him that we can be (platonic) friends but that's all I feel toward him.
