Who ever started that project should be fired and castrated.

Nice work! that's how a data room should look. The messes people post on here they should be fired.

So THIS is Mario's real job... huh all those games must have been him tripping...

Better, but still needs much work.... as to your comment on using different colors so that you don't lose track, that's what labeling is for. Rhino sells a nice, inexpensive cable label maker. Cable Management seems to be a fading art, with people having a lazy attitude towards it....sad. Keep on it man, you'll have a rack you can be proud of in no time.

so this means mexicans can do something else than mowning the lawn?

nice work man :P
You should have used patch cords in the same colour. Also, installing cable management between the patch panels and switches would've given the rack a more structured look. Appearance is just as important as functionality.

At :28 you can see the cables running into the patch panel have already been cut into a specific length. To redo it would take time and money, i didn't have that.
I agree it should have been like that when first installed, but it was that for 6 years before i got there.
As far as the color, i am not much into buying the same color cables. they are much easier to see and follow from patch to switch w/o losing track of the cable. 5 different colors so i can track them. have a good one.
