  • I'm sorry but the GBC version is probably the BEST home console port of Dragon's Lair and the graphics are AWESOME. Even today, the graphics for this GBC version look fantastic.

  • That's just silly, even the CDI version is better than this one. It has identical gameplay and far superior Graphics and sound. Not to mention the Jag CD and 3DO versions.

  • Are you back for good or is marriage still taking too much of your time?

  • I've been able to make quite a few videos lately and I have some more on the way, so it should be good for a while. :)

  • Come back Ben!

  • Where did I go? lol

  • I don't care how you spin it, for the GBC, those are some sick graphics.

  • Yeah the female voice is back!

  • Pretty useless now we have arcade perfect version of this game on DS, iPhone, iPad and several others.

A damn amazing technical achievement though.

  • Pretty amazing being on the GBC.

I'd say this is definitely worth getting in hard copy for just having an interactive MOVIE on a GBC as well as it being one of the only accessible versions true to the arcade (CDI does NOT count because you might as well buy the arcade cabinet for that price).

  • @VideoGameTakeOut That is, if you payed the ridiculously expensive price for a CDI in which Dragon's Lair will be the only game you own because if you wanted the Zelda games (which are the best games for the CDI...which is sad) as well, you'd have to pay up to $100.00+ for it.

Yeah, I'd say the GBC version is way better due to a cheaper price on a console far more worth having.

  • @Scarlet1992Kille That's what I was saying the game play is just watching a video sequence and you have a short spot in the sequence to press a button (correctly) to progress to the next area. If you do it wrong you die. It's an interactive cartoon. If you are not a classic gamer I don't think you will enjoy it because the game play is very simplistic and it requires you to memorize patterns. I own this game on lots of different platforms because I enjoy it that much. Sega CD, CDi, Wii, GBC, ect

  • @Scarlet1992Kille The game shown in the here is not the game on the 3DS eShop. I would look up Dragon's Lair arcade (or DS). If you are going to like this game or not really depends. I grew up in the 80's playing lots of these kinds of games so I love them. I don't know how someone that didn't grow up in the 80's will receive it. Basically you watch a video sequence and have to press a button to complete the cartoon. Do it wrong, you die. It's like a choose your own adventure. I like the game.

  • It's still amazing for GBC. lol

  • @VideoGameTakeOut but the controls in this one play better than ANY OTHER VERSION! so i get his point

  • @Blacksun1942 it just came out for wii and what about the blu ray version
