Enjoy! This is a great way to get beachy hair with no heat and no excessive chemicals! Comment below and tell me how it worked out for you! FYI: I saw sea salt spray in a magazine and found a recipe for it online and tweaked it a bit. This idea is not originally mine.

Items needed for spray:
Spoon for mixing
Measuring Spoon
Conditioner/Serum
Spray Bottle
Sea Salt
Bowl
Measuring Cup
1 cup/8 oz of water

  • No offence but, just because someone makes a video with them narrating it doesn't mean they are trying to be like Michelle Phan.People narrated videos before Michelle Phan.

  • why didnt you just mix it in the measuring cup ?

  • Good info!

Mixing the whole thing into the water in the measuring cup would simplify the process. :)

  • No excessive chemicals? The serum has chemicals. If you did decide to use hairspray in the mixture. Again chemicals, The products you used at the end chemicals! Also when you use the spray hair should be damp, So the mixture can work.

  • Table salt DOES work for this.

  • Thanks I was wondering if anyone made it without using gel (which can be sticky and too hard). I made some and used a 2 oz. size spray bottle( travel size), 2 oz. warm water, appx 1/2 teaspoon sea salt (from HEB), 1/8 teaspoon organix coconut milk anti-breakage serum (from HEB), 1/8 teaspoon Naturelle Hypo-Allergenic Fragrance Free conditioner (from Sally's Beauty Supply). It will get bacteria in it after 2 - 3 days without preservatives so making just a little bit is probably safer.

  • 2 teaspoon is equal to 1 tablespoon. not 3 teaspoon

  • Could Rock Salt work?

  • Table salt can be used but sea salt is healthier as it has les sodium (that dries the hair out)

  • You are so cute!

  • HOW LONG CAN YOU KEEP THE SPRAY ?? does it go bad ?

  • Are there any sea salt spray product that you can buy, and does anyone know if it's better or as effective as making it yourself ? thank you :)
