1984 Cub Cadet 8/26 snow blower refurbished and upgraded with an 11hp OHV Honda Clone engine. It has an on board battery and 12 volt electric start, Electric chute rotation and an impeller kit.
This machine has a 16" auger, 14" impeller and a positraction differential. This machine is a beast at 327Lbs but turns on a dime with the positraction diff and is very easy to handle.

Hope to get some good snow this winter, If so I will shoot a video of it in action.

  • Yes it is a gm window motor out of an 1999 buick. I has since replaced the rubber hose with one slightly bigger in diameter and put hose clamps on it so i can adjust the amount of grab it has on the shaft. It works very well and does not twist as i can adjust it to slip at any amount of drag just by adjusting the tension on the hose clamps. The battery was pretty low when i tested it. Chute turns much faster with the battery at full charge and the engine running at operating RPM's

  • Hey hodrod Looks like a GM power window motor turning the chute, real nice job of installation. It looks like the rubber hose drive has had a few twists though. lol I've seen a few vids with old rechargeable 12 volt drills used to turn the chute. It rotates quicker and you have a built in slip clutch. Those Honda clone replacement engines are sweet, I saw a new 15hp on sale for $249. I considered it but shipping was to much for me and my original just needed a good tune up, governor adjusted.

  • awesome!

  • you have some great skills my man. love the lister setup. please, keep the vid coming. Also seen a funny comic for leaf removal. Use snowblower and point discharge towards neigbors house.
