It's sad how clearly abusive this relationship was, but it's also sad that both Ted Haggard and Mr. Grant are clearly tortured souls trying to deny their homosexuality through religion. I wish people like this could accept themselves for who they are. Then maybe they could find healthy relationships.

This is what religion does to homosexual people. Messes with their heads and makes them all crazy. People should be free to love who they love. They can be moral and upright without an evangelical church. They're really searching for community, but it is hard in the gay world when its filled with people so filled with rejection and sadness at times. I hope this guy can find community and happiness soon.
