This is the only world where we get to choose good or evil. This world is a staging area for the hereafter. After this is eternal pain or eternal peace. Hell and Heaven are a consequence of what you did in this life. Scripture is very clear on this as explained in the parable of the Sower. It's nice that you can love everybody gay or straight. However, in hell that will be impossible because no one will have that capability anymore. God's presence will not be there.
