A 14 year old boy wouldn't typically be the person to publicly laud a movie from the 1940s. The reason I said my age is to describe the effect this film can have on everyone from adults to teenage boys, just because I love it so much.

Once upon a time, a war-wizened woman got knocked up by an evil tyrant. She chose a kind, ethical, loving man to help her raise her sons. He helped deflect that evil tyrant's attacks on their homeland.

Both sons wanted to save freedom for all, so their wise mom advised them both to marry money-grubbing trolls, which they did. Both brothers found answers by studying tyranny up close.

Her older son stayed in his homeland to save the world; her younger son went abroad to save the world. They won.

I just saw this film for the first time, and man did it affect me! It totally deserves the hype that it's received and it now earns a place in my top 5 favourite films of all time. Loved it!

question. George is about to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge. Clearance jumps in to save him. yet George jumps in anyway from the same height. how is that saving George when he jumps in anyway. Is it b/c he had different intentions?
