I looked through my cupboard to see what I could wear; I wasn't fond of wearing jeans around the house, definitely if I was going to be lounging around. I decided on some jogging bottoms. Similar to the ones I had given Bibi, I loved those things but they got too small, so I give them to her generously.
I left the same shirt on I wore that day, with my dog tag hanging around my neck.
"Hey Nick," Kevin knocked on my door and came in. "Mum said foods done." He smiled.
"Ok, thanks."

"Hey Bibi." I answered the door not long after she'd knocked.
I felt slightly awkward still not knowing whether she had caught me watching her or not.
"Hey!" she smiled.
I opened the door wider for her to come in.
"Thanks." She said, entering my house.
I closed the door behind her as she took her high top trainers off and walked into the living room.
"Hey Mama D." I heard her call to my Mam.
I laughed; this house was like her second home.
"Hey, Bibs," Joe said, coming out of the kitchen. "Hairs looking nice, who did that for you?" He winked.
Bibi laughed. "Aw, some arse who forgets to throw his products which have expired out into the trash." She pulled a face at him.
Joe laughed. "So, what are you too geeks up to today?" he sat on the sofa picking up the remote for the TV.
"English homework and Bibi said she'd help me out with my music work too." I explained.
"Homework again?" Frankie said, coming down from the stairs.
"We got colleges to get into." Bibi ruffled his hair.
"I haven't heard you sing in long time, Bibs." Joe said. "I'll have to come up and have a listen later." He smiled.
"Uh, please don't." she rolled her eyes playfully.
Joe pulled a face at her.
"Come on." I said, laughing.
She and Joe acted like brother and sister all the time.

I led the way to my bedroom; she stopped off at Kevin's room first.
"Hey, nice jam." she said, poking her head in his room.
He was playing his guitar.
"Thanks B." Kevin smiled. "So, what brings you too our household today?"
she laughed. "Oh, you know, same old."
"What, to eat all our food, use our electric, take over our guitars, watch all our DVD's and then bugger off home?" he teased.
"Nailed it." she laughed and then closed the door.

"So, what do you want to work on first?" I asked, taking a seat on my bed.
"Um," she took a seat next to me. "The boring stuff."
"English then."
She nodded, digging through her bag she had brought. She pulled out books, pen and a notebook. "Let's go." She smiled, but let out a sigh with it.

We led on my bed on our stomachs; the English homework was almost done.
"I hate this story." She closed the book of Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet.'
"Why?" I frowned.
She sighed. "A number of reasons, firstly, I don't think it's even possible for a 13 year old girl too fall that madly in-love with someone that she'd kill herself for them..."
I nodded, sort of agreeing.
"... Secondly, it makes me cry and thirdly, I don't understand the old English they speak in."
I chuckled at the last one.
"Well, I think it's a pretty awesome story." I said, picking up the book and flicking the pages. "The love they have for each other is amazing; everybody deserves to find love like that."
She stared at me as I spoke, smiling.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing," she shook her head, still smiling. "You've always been the cute, sensitive one, right?"
I laughed. "Thanks."
There was a sudden pause and we stared into each others eyes for what seemed like hours.
She then looked away. "So, want to get started on that song?" she sort of rolled off my bed heading for my acoustic guitar.
"Sure." I smiled, sitting up.
She sat next to me. "Can it be about anything in general, or is it based on something?" she asked, strumming at the guitar.
"Anything, as long as it's personal."
She nodded. "So, what do you want to sing about? Anything been on your mind lately?" she asked.
*You,* I thought. "Um, not really." I lied. "What about you?"
She shrugged. "Maybe this will be harder than we thought." she giggled.
"Maybe we could sing something about our friendship?"
She gasped. "Yeah, nice call, that makes things easier."
I chuckled.

We wrote some lyrics down and played out some chords that mixed well together.
We joked and laughed but soon came up with a verse and a bit of a chorus.
"Ugh, can we stop now?" she flopped back on my bed. "I'm starting to get blisters on me fingers." she giggled.
I laughed. "Light weight." I shoved her slightly with my elbow.
She lost her balance on the edge of the bed and ended up flipping and landing on the floor.
I gasped and leant forward to see her face first on the floor, I just stared not knowing whether to laugh or apologise first.
She rolled herself over onto her back and started hysterically laughing.
On that note I let the laugh out that I was holding back.
