  • i like the quad phoenix

with a 30ahr cobalt lithium range might be 30km or, haven't tested range, would depend on a lot of factors. For kmx kart I would think bmc motor much better choice as hill climbing ability is much better than x5. Also amp draw is lower on bmc so smaller battery required but can get same/similar top speeds using bmc on same voltage/amps

  • bmc geared motor has less drag as it has freewheel mechanism, they have made some without freewheel and the drag is I think a little larger than phoenix motor, hoping to try bmc 500watt in the trike sometime soon

  • bmc geared motor 500watt would be better motor

as I know someone in australia already using

I think a higher torque motor better for kmx

x5303 more for speed on hills tends to die unless you put quite alot of amps through it

range depends on lots of factors, I'm using 85v 45ahr lithium cobalts, haven't done any long distance runs, so not sure of how far can go, would be quite a long way though

  • 79 DOWNHILL I did the same on my mountain bike without a motor

  • Excellent B,

Look forward to you posting the top speed run with the full cowling.

Quite impressive from what is for all intensive purposess a bike.

PS> you probably shouldn't post where you do your testing, they might come and arrest you.

  • I am certain that a geared motor would have more drag than an Phoenix Brushless ..Do You agree ? see EQUAD PHOENIX on Youtube

  • Nice video, I have a kmx kart I want to put the same set up on it !

How many KM or Miles you can make with your battery ?
