Behind The Scenes, shooting on Lake Gairdner.

While shooting one of the pivotal scenes in the film, we were bombarded by bad weather over two days. We had to cut our shot list in half while we sat in cars on the lake surface and waited for the storm fronts to pass through. Every cloud had a silver lining and even though the weather was bad it did create a dramatic back drop for when we did shoot. Big bruised skies and refections off the water.

The lake is a salt lake called Lake Gairdner. Google it. It's in South Austrlia. Well worth a visit if you are ever near there.
