As all of you know I am a huge DMB fan and this really hit me hard, Leroi was one of my favorite members in the band, he was so multi-talented and it pains me to think he wont be around to play with the band anymore.. RIP Leroi we will miss you.
I am uploading this little memorial with one of my favorite pieces from Leroi his penny whistle solo in the end of Bartender from Folsom Field is just chilling..

the day he died, they started the show off with bartender, and it was the most intense moment at any show i have ever attended, i could not stop the tears from running down my face... it was a real moment for sure....

Can't believe it's been 2 years ago today. By the time Leroi passed on, DMB had sold millions of albums--and I just hope Leroi was well aware of the literally millions of lives his (and DMB's) music had touched. R.I.P., Leroi..............you truly were the best of what's around.

Excellent choice. This version of Bartender has always given me chills. It's just on a whole different dimension. Roi you are missed today just as much as the first day you were gone. What a loss... He played with such intense emotion.

He had a fourwheeler wreck and later died from complications.....possibly an infection I think:( Very talented guy. DMB will never be the same.
